Job Description:

Job Summary:

Responsible for meeting or exceeding Audio-visual budget as well as supporting all group and catering sales of audio-visual. Actively and consistently upsell and maximize profitability while maintaining client relationships and ensuring guest satisfaction. Develop proposals, contracts, group resumes, catering details for client review and approval. Support sales, conference services, catering and banquets by meeting with clients to determine needs and ensure execution on-site.

 

Job Duties:

  1.  In coordination with Group Sales, initiate contact with clients during proposal stage or during negotiation to determine audio-visual needs and provide guidance, proposals and information to secure new business with focus on groups (conventions, associations, banquets, etc.).
  2. Directly manage and coordinate client accounts as they relate to Audio-visual needs. Actively up-sell each business opportunity to maximize revenue opportunity. Distribute information to appropriate departments regarding needs and requirements of groups, meetings and events taking place. Coordinate with multiple departments including Group Sales, Food & Beverage, Hotel, etc. Prepare audio-visual sales proposals, contracts, reports, etc.

  6. Develop and promote casino/hotel image and awareness by industry events, tradeshows, etc.

  10. Combination of post-secondary education in sales, marketing, hospitality or related course work and/or direct hotel or convention meeting space sales experience to equal three years.
  11. Basic math skills to compute pricing, discounts, mark-ups, etc.
  12. Excellent PC knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products and catering software management.
  13. Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to interact with a diverse group of people.
  14. Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and to prioritize and organize multiple projects.
  15. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  16. General knowledge of safety and fire codes.
  17. Valid driver's license may be required with good driving record and reliable transportation.

Requirements:
