CONTENT STRATEGIST - MEDICARE

Position Description

This position is responsible to develop and execute strategies that infuse brand into content focused on the Medicare.  Assist Market Managers and Associate Directors in execution of go-to market plans for acquisition and retention strategies on existing and new products and services.

·Execute creative briefs for marketing tactics derived from provided Medicare strategy briefs. Create communication plan to ensure coordination of strategy and brand for all consumer facing Medicare marketing assets, including formats, channels and measures that will be tracked to evaluate success.

·Provide project management and coordination for various aspects of communication plans to ensure timely and effective implementation for large scale/high impact projects. Collaborate with internal stakeholders and business partners in order to execute proper management of kickoffs and business partner review process.

·Serve as the main contact for writers and designers for the work they manage. 

·Plan and coordinate content reviews with stakeholders /business partners and Traffic Coordinator to support effective management of timelines. 

·Integrated Campaigns: Direct branded content in integrated campaigns across channels for specific Medicare audiences, and define their preferred channels for go-to-market advertising.

·Digital: Direct branded content, in partnership with Digital Specialist, to support content for SEO and SEM efforts - relevant content on landing pages and in emails for multiple tactics driving acquisition and retention.

·Print: Direct select branded content in partnership with Communication Leads that support high-level member-facing marketing print materials used to generate leads and/or support retention efforts for Sales team and brokers.

·Social: Direct branded content to support efforts in social channels in partnership with Digital Specialist and Public Relations Manager.

·Direct Mail: Agency content lead for direct response mail and media planning.

·Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's or advanced degree in communications-related field required.

Required Experience

Three years of brand messaging experience in corporate or non-profit marketing communications required. Three years copywriting, including go-to-market advertising related to product marketing across multi-channels. Proficient in MS Word and Adobe Acrobat, specifically keeping source of truth and utilizing mark-ups and track changes within. 

Preferred Experience

Health care communications experience. Directing messaging strategy to writing teams. Experience working in a government-regulated industry. Proficiency in Adobe InCopy - helping to expedite review process.
