A role with Target Promotions Marketing means that you'll be part of a team that leads Target's Value communication strategy and brings holistic promotional and value stories to life for Target's guests.  The team has a broad range of responsibilities including planning& development, creative, execution and production. Promotions Marketing leverages a variety of print and digital media and is responsible for Target's Weekly Ad, Digital Weekly Ad, Print Promotions, In-store Promotional Signing and Printing Services. Within our Promotions Marketing team, we have our Target Printing Services team, which is a 24/7 operation located in Brooklyn Park, MN that serves as the singular hub for Promotional Signing and a production and kitting facility for other assets including direct mail inserts, ISM, training materials and event and meeting planning elements.  It is an insource, outsource, co-source model that brings value to Target by being a high quality, on-time and cost-effective option for everything we produce.As Director, Target Printing Services, you will develop, coach and enhance the culture of a 100-person team of non-exempt and exempt employees, drive operational excellence and execution, build a better quality and performance tracking framework and evolve the strategy for how we print and deliver over 1 Billion printed pieces for Target annually. You will leverage the knowledge of a diverse and experienced population of printing professionals to think differently about the operation, challenge the status quo and build a cohesive, engaged and developmental team culture. You will ensure that all financial goals are met through effective management of resources, team members, and processes, working with leaders within Printing Services, across Marketing, and cross-functionally. You will work to enhance quality assurance systems, productivity measurement, and performance management systems to improve efficiency in the organization, while keeping environmental sustainability and compliance top of mind. You will lead the business continuation plan development, annual testing, and coordination across property development to ensure security needs are met through annual planning. Additionally, you will focus on team engagement, inspiration, and motivation for a fast paced environment.Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description.   • Proven experience in understanding resource requirements and planning for short and long term business
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience working with teams and leading people
  • 7+ years of people leadership
