Description: The Global Supply Chain Design team is responsible for defining Target Supply Chain's future operating model across the full value chain from vendor to guest. This team is responsible for developing long term supply chain strategy by evaluating product flow from vendor to distribution center, across the first mile, middle mile and last mile, with focus on delivery speed, ensuring sufficient capacity for throughput and storage (inventory modeling) in the network and improve operating efficiencies both within 4 walls of distribution center and across the network.

As a Lead Supply Chain Analyst, you will have these primary responsibilities…

·Develop an understanding of Target supply chain data and gather and analyze the same to understand the current state of Target's supply chain

·Identify underlying patterns with data

·Develop insights through analysis and visualization with data to inform and influence stake holders

·Works with peer and stake holder across Planning , Design, Supply Chain , Merchandising, Finance and Store Operations to evaluate different business opportunities

·Coordinate with Supply Chain senior leaders to develop transformation and conversion strategy, business case(s), and write/own narrative(s) for activating the future operating model

·Develop the thought leadership and network plan  to achieve expected benefits by ensuring alignment and coordination across multiple stakeholder groups,  mitigating risks and managing key decisions

·Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast paced environment. Ensure all individual project requirements stitch together in a way that drives expected outcomes 

·Drive cross-functional alignment, prioritization, and coordination of key program priorities and deliverables across Process teams, Product Teams, Network Engineering & Automation, Store Operations, among others

Requirements

·B.S/M.S or MBA in Supply Chain,Logistics,Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Finance, Mathematics, Computer science and other related quantitative fields

·5+ Years of Experience preferred

·Experience in Finance, Inventory Management, program management in Supply chain is a plus

·Experience with SQL is must

·Familiarity or experience with programming in a few of the following is plus

oR, Python, Spark, Shell script, SAS

·A strong passion for analyzing and answering hard questions with data

·Ability to communicate complex concepts
