Description: JOB POSITION:Lead Data Management Analyst

LOCATION: 33 South 6th Street, Minneapolis, MN 55402

DUTIES:Perform data engineering activities, such as ingesting, integrating organization governance data and making it available and reliable for governance and analytical reporting. Develop key ideas and concepts, evaluate hypotheses, and measure results through data-driven approaches to drive reliability. Contribute to the thought leadership for programmatic data management and automated governance. Leads others through data governance workflows and processes. Perform data selection queries and manipulation operations in order to profile and use data. Automate programmatic approach for enabling data discoverability and accessibility. Partners with data governance council on the creation and maintenance of business metadata according to the data governance standards. Apply programmatic approach of analyzing usage of assets which in turn contributes to identifying certified foundation and analytical data sets as part of making data reliable and available. Tools and technologies used include: Hadoop, Hive, AIX, Teradata, Unix Shell Scripting, SQL, Python, Domo Reporting, ETL Tool.

REQUIREMENTS:This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Computer Information Systems, Engineering, or a closely related field and at least five (5) years of post-baccalaureate, progressive experience in data warehousing and performance optimization (any title) using Hadoop, Teradata, AIX, ETL Tool, SQL, Unix Shell Scripting, and Hive.
