Here you'll help our field, HQ and National Investigations Center teams identify new insights into theft, shortage, security trends that will drive actions.

A role with the AP Systems, Reporting & PMO is an opportunity to lead and develop the reporting and data strategy for Assets Protection. Here, you'll influence the strategy and vision for all of Assets Protection by aligning the reporting, data and analytics to the overall mission to ensure that teams have the right information to make decisions.

Product Teams at Target Corporation are accountable for the delivery of business outcomes enabled through reporting and analytic products that are easily maintained and highly reliable. Product teams have one shared backlog that is inclusive of all product, technology and design work. As a Lead Product Owner, you will:

Develop the product roadmap that will strategically evolve data/reporting delivery methods, data insights to drive business decisions and analytics that define new approaches.

Deep customer empathy and passion about building delightful product experiences (mobile and desktop) by facilitating discussions to define the end users needs and convert those insights into use cases that drive product development.

Leverage business and technical knowledge, as well as, diverse perspectives from end users to assess value, develop business cases, and prioritize the direction and deliverables.

Identify connection points across business teams that aligns complementary work so product deliverables are seamless to the end user.

Be the “voice of the product” to key stakeholders to ensure that end users needs are met and that the product team is getting the direction and support that it needs to be successful.

Develop and actively maintain a product backlog outlining the customer themes, epics, and stories while prioritizing the backlog to focus on the highest impact work for your team and stakeholders.

Encourage the open exchange of information and viewpoints, as well as, inspire others to achieve challenging goals and high standards of performance while committing to the organization's direction.

Foster sense of urgency to achieve goals and leverage resources to overcome unexpected obstacles, and partner with product and business teams across the organization to help achieve goals. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

About you: 4 year degree and 5+ years of experience in reporting/data and/or Product space

Strong communication skills

Experience with data/reporting/technology and ability to facilitate communication between business and technology teams

Experience working in an agile environment (e.g. user stories, iterative development, persona development etc)

Strong collaboration with many audiences (field, technology, data and business)
