Description: Senior Engineer

Target Enterprise, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Senior Engineer at our offices in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Senior Engineer will be responsible for driving industry-leading software development technologies in support of every angle of the business, and help ensure that Target operates smoothly, securely and reliably. This position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and 5 years related (progressive, post-baccalaureate) experience. Must also have 12 months of demonstrated ability (which may have been gained concurrently) with each of the following: (1) working on Sprint planning, Backlog refinement, daily Scrum, Sprint review and Sprint Retrospective meetings; (2) writing, developing, unit and integration testing software; (3) diagnosing, isolating, de-bugging software problems and performing problem resolution and using expertise in eliminating repetitive occurrences; (4) transportation domain knowledge including movement types, stakeholders, and optimal routing options as well as Global Trade Compliance domain knowledge including customs clearance, duties, and payment processes; (5) standard EDI knowledge including formats and transaction types supporting freight movement and payment processes; and (6) utilizing the following tools and technologies: Java/J2EE, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Spring Batch, Github, SOAP, Junit, Mockito, IntelliJ, Eclipse, Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, Drone, Docker, and Kubernetes.
