Description: About This OpportunityAs a Sr. Engineering Manager, you will lead an engineering team in an agile environment building solutions.  The key to the success of this position is having strong & innovative approach to problem solving, great technical leadership, excellent communication (written and verbal, formal and informal), flexibility, and a self-motivated working style with attention to detail.
As a senior engineering manager you will lead an experienced team focused on designing, building and maintaining innovative solutions that provide mission focused capability to the cybersecurity organization's threat intelligence, detection and response teams.  Successful candidates will be technically proficient problem solvers that are comfortable leading from the front in an agile environment.
This role is a leader of a passionate group of engineers that deliver both infrastructure as a service and specialized platforms to analysts charged with defending our business.  Leverage your proven experience managing highly performing teams to deliver solutions that help meet this mandate in an organization that is also dedicated to developing people inside of a mature security program.
This leader will be familiar with:-Leading teams that support the full stack of technologies within given solutions
-Understand operational best practices for supporting production platforms
-Be able to work in an Agile environment using the Product model
-Have experience with Linux system administration, networking concepts
-Be intimate with DevOps concepts and tooling (GIT, Docker, etc.)
-Manage overall delivery of capability, driving best practices to ensure delivery of high quality products and support
-Manage and execute against project/agile plans
-Formalize and execute plans for cross training / professional development of team members
-Drive resolution of any and all roadblocks
Requirements:-8+ years of information security experience-3+ years of software development experience-1+ years of managing software development teams with a strong track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional projects-Knowledge of Continuous Integration-Strong sense of ownership-Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to variety of audiences-Can draw on examples in their past of how they inspired individuals and teams to accomplish goals greater than was known to be possible at the time
Desired Qualifications:-OpenStack-Elasticsearch products-Sandbox technologies-Google Cloud Computing Services-Python/Go or other languages
