A role with the National Investigation Center (NIC) means focusing on the identification and resolution of internal and external theft and fraud activity in stores across the country.The NIC ensures the protection of Target team members, physical assets and corporate facilities and helps make our Assets Protection team the fastest, smartest and most effective in the industry.

Use your skills, experience and talents to be a part of groundbreaking thinking and visionary goals. As a Sr. NIC Technician, you'll take the lead as you:

·Provide investigative support and services to Assets Protection partners located at HQ, in Stores, and throughout the country.

·Use technology, data and reporting to analyze, gather, and disseminate intelligence in support of internal and external investigations

·Conduct daily video surveillance review identifying and documenting critical intelligence and evidence for HQ and Field Partners

·Support local, State, and Federal Law Enforcement investigations and fulfil legal requests for data and evidence

·Provide Critical Incident Response support

·Collaborate and build partnerships in support of Assets Protection goals and initiatives

·Work with sensitive information according to secured-handling policies

·Job duties may change at any time due to business needs


About you:

·High school diploma or GED

·Experience with or willingness to learn about data analysis, CCTV technology, and PC skills

·Investigative mindset, Curious, Problem-Solver

·Strong organizational and communication skills

·Able to work both collaboratively and independently

·Proactive and Accountable

·Flexible work hours including some nights and weekends
