- Developing and enhancing applications/tools used by Target engineers to build secure code and systems
- Using Java, Springboot, PostgresSQL, JavaScript to build robust and scalable systems
- Interacting with customers to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Researching products and making necessary software recommendations
- Innovating constantly and continuing to learn new tools and technologies Core responsibilities of this job are described within this job description. Jobduties may change at any time due to business needsRequirements
- BS degree in computer science or equivalent experience
- 2-7 years total work experience
- Hands-on experience in Java, Groovy, Spring - JVM language and frameworks
- Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
- Self starter with strong problem solving skills and sense of ownership
- Team-focused attitude
- Good verbal and written communication skillsDESIRED REQUIREMENTS
- Experience with Javascript
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, test-driven development
- Experience working in an agile environment (i.e. user stories, iterative development, etc.)
- Experience with application security tools
- Interest or background in security helpful, but not a requirement
