    Duties and Responsibilities:
    1. Interventions & Extensions
     - What do we do when students do not understand (Q 3)?
     - What do we do when students understand and need more (Q 4)?
    2.Student Placement
     - Coordination and assistance with academic transition between Grades 5 to 6; 6 to 7; 7 to 8; and 8 to 9
    3.Data (Investigates, correlates, interprets, and assists w/ implementation)
     - Minnesota Comprehensive Assessments, Measures of Academic Progress, Common Summative Assessments (Trimester), Formative Assessments, Common Formative Assessments, Attendance, Behavior, and Coursework
     - Targeted Services (Extended Day & Summer School)
     - Mastery Manager Support
    4.Staff Support & Resource 
     - Reinforces the work of the  Collaborative Teams, School Improvement Planning Teams (SIP), Cultural Responsive Teaching Teams, and Student Assistance Teams
     - Assists in the continued support of  Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) and Project Lead the Way - Gateway to Technology (PLTW - GTT )
    5.Professional Development
     - Researches better practices and instruction strategies surrounding first best instruction (Tier I)
     - Assists in the development of a systemic Response to Intervention program (Tier II & Tier III)
    6.These positions are supervised by the middle school principals.
    7.Middle School Principals would also assign duties as related to the continued support of student learning.

    Minimum Qualifications:  Requires Any Secondary License.
    (Anoka-Hennepin will make every effort to hire teachers with full standard licenses in the assigned subject and grade level.)

    Start Date:  8/26/19.  This position was previously posted and may be filled immediately by an appropriately licensed candidate (PELSB Tier 3 or Tier 4 license); or by a candidate eligible for PELSB Tier 1 or Tier 2 license, or OFP (Out of Field Permission) after a 15-day posting period (after: 5/7/19).
