Description: Responsible Sourcing Manager
Role Description: Develops and maintains a strategic partnership with the Apparel garment sourcing and fabric teams to elevate Responsible Sourcing performance of tier two business partners and the business category as a whole. Drives RS goal work within the Apparel T2 for garment laundry, garment printing and vendor sourced fabric.

Role Description: Develops and maintains a strategic partnership with the Apparel garment sourcing and fabric teams to elevate Responsible Sourcing performance of tier two business partners and the business category as a whole. Drives RS goal work within the Apparel T2 for garment laundry, garment printing and vendor sourced fabric.
Category Support and Supplier Elevation
- Partner collaboratively with RS Apparel T1 category manager to align on crossover business partners and ensure unified RS message to external and internal partners
- Identify tier 2 training opportunities and work with both internal and external partners to ensure business partners have access to training materials
- Partner with Sourcing and Fabric teams to align on priorities and goals for the division
- Collaboratively determine priority business partners and understand near and long term growth plans for the business including business partners and countries of production
- Prioritize business partners and regions of priority for tier 2 oversight onboarding program and partner with analysts to nominate suppliers
- For priority business partners, work to understand their factory matrix and identify the RS strengths and weaknesses of the factory matrix
- Work closely with business partners to understand their tier 2 oversight programs, monitor audit results, and help them improve over time
- Work with overseas team members to help drive business partner elevation and gain the necessary insights to provide Sourcing and Fabric partners with timely and relevant updates
- Define and implement oversight and elevation programs for Responsible Sourcing to improve supply chain performance, transparency and accountability
- Review audits results for both social and environment assessments and distill learnings into insights and recommendations for business partners, Sourcing and Fabric leaders
- Provide regular, proactive updates to Sourcing and Fabric leaders on priority business partners and any business partners/factories that are not performing well
- Elevate all major non-compliance issues to Sourcing leaders, RS leaders and Fabric leaders as necessary
- Work with RS goal leads to lead relevant RS goal-related efforts within your division
- Ensures fabric teams and tier 2 factories understand RS program and procedures
- Other tasks as may be required
- Act as the primary operational liaison to the AAFA Laundry Safety program
- Represent Target on AAFA calls
- Determine when and how Target should participate in industry initiatives relating to tier 2
- Manage issues as they arise with appropriate internal and external partners
- Manage all Immediate resolution and Severe audit results
