Temporary Hr Specialist
Job Details
We are looking to fill a 3-4-month Temporary HR Specialist . The HR Representative will have ownership of specific HR functions and will provide a variety of complex, routine, and administrative services in support of departmental and operational goals. A large part of this role will be collaborating with HR and other departments on various projects. The Specialist will also support the organization in talent acquisition, FMLA/leave management, and will act as the recruiting partner for designated businesses.
JOB DUTIES:
• Responsible for processing all pre-adverse and adverse action decisions, including documentation of decisions and communication with applicants, in accordance with regulations.
• Manage the FMLA and Leave process by ensuring appropriate process is followed and manages communication between the business, the employee, and the HR partner
• Assists in maintaining/updating the ATS and HRIS and training Field HR on pertinent processes
• Acts as Administrator for offer letter vendor, including set-up, training, and maintenance of the system
• Participates in projects related to HR matters.
• Updates HR related documents as directed
• Assists HR Team with employee separation tasks, such as drafting termination letter
• Assists HR Team with day-to-day operations of HR functions and duties
• Helps maintain organization for the HR team: filing, updating documents & other informational resources as needed
EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 3-5 years’ experience working in human resources required, or a combination of education and experience
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience of leave administration is required
• General knowledge of employment laws and practices
• Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to analyze, manipulate data in excel using VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables and other intermediate functions
