We are hiring for an experienced Buyer to join our team in Faribault! As the Buyer, you will be responsible for activities associated with purchasing and expediting to meet the requirements of business plans.
JOB DUTIES:
• Entering new purchase orders for direct shipment (drop ships) to our customers.
• Entering purchase orders for the manufacturing/AWT locations.
• Responde to inquiries regarding the status of purchase orders and resolving discrepancies such as quantity, order multiples, pricing or PID issues.
• Direct ship purchase order maintenance in Navision. This includes canceling, adjusting, and re sending purchase orders to our suppliers as necessary.
• Address CRM Activities and also creating and assigning activities when required.
• Utilizing Microsoft Office, Access, Navision, CRM and the SRRS Report Server.

REQUIREMENTS:
- High School degree or equivalent. Minimum of four years work experience in Logistics, Marketing, or Sales.
- Must have a strong sense of customer service & urgency & be able to consistently meet deadlines. Must have the ability to communicate & negotiate effectively with suppliers.
- Must be detail-oriented and consistently produce accurate work.
- Must possess sound decision making, multi tasking, problem solving and computer skills. Data manipulation skills via Excel, Access and other system tools or applications.
- Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists; ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
