SITE RELIABILITY ANALYST
Best Buy Co., Inc. has an opening in Richfield, MN, for the position of Site Reliability Analyst to monitor and maintain highly available, multibillion dollar e-commerce site's health at web-scale to 99.95% reliability; interface with front-end and back-end developers within Operations and Engineering as a part of a Dev-Ops style team; respond to in-the-moment indications of potential problems and make recommendations to improve resiliency and performance across all tiers of applications; sustain high-availability of various IT services consumed by company's applications; and contribute to maintaining and developing methods of visualizing data to support quick identification and diagnosis of performance data collected via the company's vast toolset. Requires: At least a Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or IT, plus at least 5 years of progressively responsible, post-bachelor's degree experience as a developer or computer systems analyst (1) performance engineering, monitoring, engaging in application support, and providing 24X7 operations support of web-scale systems; (2) implementing and monitoring applications including Tealeaf, Gomez, Catchpoint, Keynote, Splunk; (3) implementing a comprehensive solution for Real User Monitoring solution; and (4) developing and supporting operation tools with continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration pipeline in the following front-end and back-end applications and frameworks using Spring, Groovy, Apache Tomcat, Oracle ATG, Oracle SQL/PL-SQL, Elasticsearch/Kibana, Cassandra, Splunk, Lunix, NodeJS, AWS, TeaLeaf, Akamai CDN, Eclipse, and IntelliJ.
