A role with the Indirect Sourcing & Procurement Center of Excellence (IS&P COE) is a chance to positively impact several key areas of Target's business. • Promoting best practices across the entire company by developing deep knowledge and client relationships in each spend category
• Providing expert integrated business planning and stakeholder management for all indirect items and services
• Applying intelligent rate, demand and specification levers to source, negotiate and contract services while sustainably lowering costs
• Propelling the business with accurate and comprehensive demand forecasting, financial planning and item setup
• Changing the game for our internal online catalog end users by making the entire buying process faster and simpler
• Helping us cultivate Target's partnerships with diverse, community-minded suppliers who are committed to economic development and job growth

As the Project Professional / Content & Process Professional you will be key in delivering the functionality needed for the Go-Cart (Ariba) Platform through active engagement in the transformation of key business processes and content into Source to Pay requirements. You will need to gain a comprehensive understanding of our current system and the needs of primary partners and users to execute on the roadmap which will provide enhanced functionally for all users. Active external engagement is critical to understand procurement trends and Ariba priorities and vision to ensure Target benefits from new capabilities and efficiencies. Aid in recommendation and delivery of ideas and plans for continuous improvement of our procurement tools with leaders and Product owners to drive alignment to future vision and strategies. 

Principle Duties & Responsibilities

• Responsible to support and translate business program requirements for the Go-Cart platform to Enterprise users
• Drive innovation and solutions to identify and support stakeholder requirements for Source-To-Pay
• Cross-organizational support for Business Processes and Ariba Functional knowledge
• Advise key stakeholders and leadership on functional solutions to solve business problems, leveraging Ariba Source to Pay
• Combine Source to Pay process expertise with knowledge of Ariba applications to articulate and present solutions at the user level
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and presence and able to develop and maintain senior-level stakeholder relationships
• Identify key areas of operational efficiencies and drive solutions
• Expertise in Indirect COE procurement business processes deep functional knowledge of the Ariba Source to Pay platform
• Demonstrable growth mindset, enthusiastic about learning new technologies quickly and applying the gained knowledge to address business problems
• Documentation and knowledge sharing, Target procurement business process, best practice, Ariba functionality
• Coordinates with external vendors to drive program objectives
• Mapping functional requirements to Ariba Source to pay cloud features and functionality
• Works under consultative direction toward predetermined long-range goals and objectives for the Go Cart platform
• Coordinates functional deliverables with business, product and engineering teams
  

About you:

• 4-year degree and/or equivalent experience
• Experience developing & implementing a large enterprise wide initiative
• Outstanding written and verbal communication
• Demonstrated ability to connect tactical deliverables to enterprise strategy
• Demonstrated ability to drive change and execute, persuade and influence others
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule (as applicable)

Desired Requirements:
• Experience/knowledge of Ariba and/or the Indirect Sourcing & Procurement
• Demonstrated experience with large-scale process and technology efforts
• Knowledge of procurement systems and processes
