Pro Staff is currently seeking an experienced Production Manager in Eden Prairie, MN. This is a Direct Hire opportunity with a growing leader in the garage door industry. The Production Manager will be responsible for the production and warehouse operation of about 10-16 employees but must also be willing to help in production when needed. Candidates must have lean manufacturing experience and implementation of the 5 S’s in a manufacturing environment.

Pay: $75-80K plus annual bonus

Hours: 7:30 am – 4:00 pm; must be open to overtime

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

• Implement training of all warehouse employees
• Use projected workloads to adjust quantity of personnel such as hiring, layoffs and terminations
• Conduct formal and informal reviews with each warehouse employee
• Develop programs to monitor quality assurance and set standard expectations
• Monitor inventory levels to meet projected workloads

Qualifications:

• College Degree and 3+ years of management experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment
• Experience implementing the 5 S’s in a lean manufacturing environment
• Microsoft Office proficiency
• Ability to prioritize tasks and demonstrate time management skills
• Demonstrate strong communication skills to motivate and influence others
• Strong decision making skills, analyzing situations and coming to an informed decision
