A role in the Finance Operations calls on your skills for quality financial and operational reporting and analytics, ensuring accurate financials while providing thoughtful and responsive support, expertise and guidance to business partners. Your role will be critical to ensuring the success of Target's business initiatives and core retail operations.

As an Accounts Payable Sr. Process Analyst, you will learn the full end to end merchandise procure to pay process and support the team by developing meaningful analytics to drive process changes, improve key payable metrics and deliver meaningful data and insights to upstream business partners. You will partner with EDABI and other technical partners to learn how to manage vast and complex data sets. You will analyze and problem solve large volumes of Target's data to drive upstream process changes in order to prevent payment disputes and improve financial accuracy which is critical for cost accounting and Finance Operations success. You will leverage your data and analytics to communicate insights to merchant, supply chain, stores and finance partners to improve item set up, receiving and other upstream processes to drive merchant financial accuracy. You will develop strong internal and external relationships to influence across the company. You may also have the opportunity to learn robotics tools to drive process automation and improvement. About you:
• B.A/B.S degree
• 4-7 years of business analytical experience
• Proven technical and data mining skills, using a variety of systems/applications including advanced excel and access
• Ability to analyze large volumes of data and draw meaningful conclusions and insights
• Strong problem solving skills
• High level of curiosity, initiative and the desire to learn end to end processes to drive improvements
• Strong communication and story telling skills
• Ability to be resilient and adaptable, working through ambiguity and change in a fast-paced operations environment
