This position is responsible for providing accounting support for the company, supervisory personnel, and associates. Typical support will be in the areas of A/P, A/R, expense reporting, fixed assets, data entry, sales tax, postage, and document file maintenance.
Essential Position Responsibilities:
Match paperwork for paying outstanding invoices.
Process transactions for accounts payable and accounts receivable
Type documents for internal and external clients.
Complete company accounts payable and receivable.
Code data for various reports.
Type and proof reports for accuracy.
Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls
Ensure that associate requests are fulfilled.
Maintain document files.
Reconcile customer accounts, research, problem solving and resolve all outstanding
High school diploma or equivalent plus two years secondary education in accounting or business or four years general accounting experience
Excellent keyboard, ten-key and data entry skills
Proficiency in current versions of accounting software systems including spreadsheet skills
Essential Job Requirements:
Report to work promptly when scheduled
Be able to work under supervision and accept feedback
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite
Relate effectively and work respectfully with diverse work groups
Ability to consistently perform well during times of increased work load
Set and meet deadlines
Manage multiple job functions simultaneously
Other duties as needed
Ability to sit and/or stand for up to 8 hour periods of time
Ability to look at a computer monitor, utilize a keyboard and/or mouse for up to 8 hours per day
Ability to lift up to 20 pounds as necessary
