Position Summary

The Department of Human Resources at St. Catherine University invites applications for a full time non-exempt Human Resources Administrative Assistant. This position provides administrative support to the department and also acts as the face of the department, greeting visitors and answering the phone.

Responsibilities:
• Greet visitors to the Human Resources Office, answer the main HR phone line, and maintain the HR email inbox.
• Assist with recruitment and New Employee Orientation scheduling, administrative, and advertisement tasks.
• Maintain employee files within the DocFinity system, ensuring information is indexed appropriately and accurately.
• Oversee the collection and input of employment data into the HRIS system. Troubleshoot and provide basic technical support on workflows and self-serve Banner functionality.
• Act as point person for questions about third party vendor employment verifications.
• Manage calendar scheduling and recordkeeping for training and exit interviews, and maintain the calendar for the Director of Human Resources.
• Miscellaneous administrative tasks and projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Qualifications:
• 2+ years of experience in an administrative support role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• PC experience.
• Friendly customer service-oriented demeanor.
• Experience with Banner preferred.
• Experience with document scanning software, DocFinity preferred.
