TEACHING & LEARNING SPECIALIST - MIDDLE SCHOOL MATH
Full Time

Work with Secondary Curriculum Department and Principals to:
Duties:  (1) Analyze district and school math program. (2) Provide leadership in math curriculum, assessment, and instruction and guide math improvement planning at the school and program levels. (3) Collaborate with principals, CTs, Achievement Analysts, Technology Facilitators, and TALS to assure continuous improvement of math program. (4) Perform job function with the realm of the district and department mission and the Secondary Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment operating norms. (5) Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:  Requires a current MN Math Teaching License.   Work in collaboration with others and function in team settings.  
(Anoka-Hennepin will make every effort to hire teachers with full standard licenses in the assigned subject and grade level.)

Preferred Qualifications:  Classroom teaching experience in Math preferred.

Start Date:  August 2019.  Duty year = 187 days plus up to 20 additional days.  Flexible scheduling of assigned duty days over 11-month calendar, August 1 thru June 30.
