Applications Engineer

EPG Companies is looking for an Applications Engineer for its Maple Grove facility.  EPG  Companies is a manufacturer and supplier of Pumps (electric and pneumatic), UL Listed Control Panels, Flares, and Remediation Equipment.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist our customers with the design, sizing, pricing, and controls for liquid pumping systems.
• Assist customers from the design stage through system operations.
• Work closely with sales representatives, design engineers, and key customer decision makers to provide competitive and creative technical solutions to meet our customer’s stringent requirements.
• Prepare sales proposals and follow up with customers throughout the sales and installation process.
• Provide technical presentations and proposals to both clients and internal team members.
• Provide clear and accurate internal and external sales documents and communications.
• Manage multiple projects and follow up on various tasks to ensure timely support and completion of projects.

Qualifications

• Sales or Manufacturing experience with pumps and/or control panels.
• Good customer support skills, along with the desire to make sure that the equipment and controls not only meet, but exceed the client’s expectations.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are a must.
• The ideal candidate has knowledge of pumps, instrumentation, controls, and/or water supply systems.
• Self-motivated, collaborator who is able to take direction, be organized, and lead technical discussions.
