A contract manufacturing company located near the St. Paul area is seeking a skilled Process Technician to join their team! We are hiring for a Process Technician to coordinate the setups and tear downs of machinery and assist on the development and maintenance of the molding process. Job duties include but not limited to:

• Locates, safely transports, and stores the injection mold in accordance with established guidelines
• Installs and removes injection molds from presses
• Set-up and prepares auxiliary support equipment as required at the press
• Follows proper set-up/cycle sheets, set-up checks and floor operation procedures         
• Document all process changes
• Maintains part quality on presses
• Monitors all presses in during their shift
• Monitors process control for presses as assigned
• Verify documents are correctly filled out prior to set-up sign-off
• Performing visual inspections for defects and logging information into paperwork
• Operates forklifts and overhead cranes while conducting mold set-up as needed
• Make hourly checks of presses running in assigned area. 
• Other tasks as assigned by lead.

Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of relevant, plastic injection experience preferred
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• College or 2 year Technical degree desired
