SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHERS -
DAPE, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPISTS, PHYSICAL THERAPISTS, SPEECH/LANGUAGE CLINICIANS, SCHOOL PSYCHOLOGIST, AUDIOLOGIST, VISION, and any special education licensed teacher to serve as AUTISM RESOURCE SPECIALISTS and BEHAVIORAL INTERVENTION SPECIALISTS.
DATES & SUMMER HOURS:
June 17 - July 19 up to 3.75 hours per day - Monday thru Friday. 1-2 additional days during the week of June 12 for set up. (no school week of July 4)
Assignments will be made based on student needs.
SITES:
Elementary Sites: Andover Elementary, Oxbow Creek, Adams, and Johnsville
High School Sites: River Trail LC, Bridges, Northdale Middle, Jackson Middle, Junior Achievement, Career & Technical Program
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: To provide direct service and / or consultative service at the various ESY sites. Behavior Analyst need to have experience in developing and implementing behavior management plans. Speech/Language Clinicians need to have experience in the use of augmentative devices.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Requires current MN Teaching License in one or more of the special education areas listed for which you are applying.
(Anoka-Hennepin will make every effort to hire teachers with full standard licenses in the assigned subject and grade level.)
RATE OF PAY: Teachers who work at their same position during the summer or do their own unit work during the summer, are paid according to their master agreement. Former Anoka-Hennepin Contracted Teachers or previous Anoka-Hennepin Summer School Teachers will receive the hourly rate in accordance with previous step/lane placement up to the maximum hourly rate stated in Article X of the working agreement ($35.37). New Summer School Teachers not employed in Anoka-Hennepin will be paid at Bachelors-Step 1 rate of $30.91 per hour. Teachers will be paid for teaching time plus prep time. There is no sick leave for summer school teachers.
