SPECIALTY COOK IN THAI RESTAURANT
Immediate opening for a full-time lead cook at a Thai Restaurant, located in Plymouth, Minnesota. Applicants must have minimum 2 years' experience in preparing Thai cuisine according to traditional recipes and developing new Thai-inspired dishes. Experience must consist of Thai cooking methods, including but not limited to: stir frying, deep frying, and grilling; preparing curries, soups, salads (meat, fruit and vegetable), creating sauces, appetizers and desserts; using fresh, whole ingredients; dressing and preparing meats-beef, pork and chicken, as well as saltwater fish and seafood, freshwater fish, tofu and bean curd; preparing rice, rice and egg noodles in a number of applications; combining fresh Thai herbs (such as Kaffir lime, Thai chilies, ginger, galangal, Thai basil and lemon grass), seasonings, and food ingredients to create authentic Thai cuisine; develop new recipes and menu selections; create and refine food presentation; and sourcing, ordering and maintaining food inventory.
