    TECHNOLOGY PARAEDUCATORS  (Summer Workers)

    DATES & SUMMER HOURS:  Approx June 10 - approx August 23; Monday thru Friday, 4 to 8 hours per day (Flexible).

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:  Responsible for the processes related to onboarding computers, Chromebooks, iPads and storage carts. Including receiving equipment, enrolling devices into management systems (Google, Apple, Jamf and Destiny), installing apps, setting up carts with devices, and general organization and storage of equipment. Other duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:  High School Diploma or equivalent.  Two years of successful technology experience with hardware & software - either on-the-job training, technical school or college course work desired.  Detail-oriented and able to follow directions.  Ability to independently  organize and follow technology setup processes.  Ability to work in a team environment.  Must have experience working in a school environment in the direct support of technology – both hardware/software, equivalent experience/training considered.  Must be able to lift equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.  Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:   Technology Para experience in K-12 Education preferred. 

    RATE OF PAY:  New Hires $14.30/hour; Current Paras accepting employment in their same category shall be paid at their school year ending hourly rate on the salary schedule through their summer employment, including seniority and academic credits.  Paras accepting employment in a different category shall be paid that category’s school year ending hourly rate on the salary schedule at the relevant step including seniority and academic credits. Assignments will be made based on students needs. There is no sick leave or vacation for summer staff.

    ACTIVE CASUAL HOURS AS NEEDED.
