PROCESS IMPROVEMENT ANALYST

Position Description

This position is responsible to support continuous process improvement throughout the organization by analyzing processes and completing improvement projects across UCare as directed by the Process Improvement & Business Analyst Manager and Project Management Office (PMO) Director.

• Support the execution of the UCare Project Portfolio through process documentation, subject matter review and improvement research

• Collaborate with business owners and subject matter experts on teams throughout the enterprise to study processes and improvements using various process improvement tools and methodologies.

• Create process maps and perform data gathering and historical trending to develop a current state and identify root causes of defects or areas of waste in a process.

• Develop metrics to monitor ongoing performance measurements.

• Maintain documentation to track process improvements and performance, communicate progress to multiple stakeholders and leadership, and assure timely achievement of project deliverables.

• Assist in building and maintaining a library of process improvement tools, templates and best practices.

• Aid in establishing a library of UCare process maps and information flows.

• Assist in coaching and training business or PMO team members in utilizing process or improvement resources throughout UCare.

• Other projects and duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred; demonstrated work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Experience

Two years of process improvement experience using Lean, Six Sigma or other process improvement methodology. Prior training such as Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean also considered in experience.

Preferred Experience

Training in a process improvement methodology such as Lean or Six Sigma
