About us:

Target is an iconic brand, a Fortune 50 company and one of America's leading retailers.

Right on pace with Target's distinctive retail brand, Target Finance and Accounting are transforming for the better. As so much more than a behind-the-scenes number-cruncher, you will be a truly collaborative partner with a seat at the table. You'll bring your unique point of view, experience and passion for the work to your team and internal clients. Within Accounting and Financial operations, you'll enjoy the interesting challenges of the competitive retail space, and you'll have a 360-degree impact-rather than on just one part of the business. You'll see your contributions come to life in virtually every area of this dynamic enterprise. And you'll grow and be challenged in your career while having a healthy balance with life outside of work.

A role in the Finance Operations calls on your skills for quality financial and operational reporting and analytics, ensuring accurate financials while providing thoughtful and responsive support, expertise and guidance to business partners. Your role will be critical to ensuring the success of Target's business initiatives and core retail operations.

As the Sr. Manager of Sales Audit, you will lead a domestic team as well as provide strong direction to a large Target sales operations team in Bangalore, India. Both teams are responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of over $70 billion of sales & tenders. This visible role will provide you with a full end to end understanding of the sales flow for store and digital transactions. You will learn how to navigate a complex flow of sales systems and leverage partners across Target, such as Technology, Stores and Finance, to prioritize the highest value-add work within the sales flow process. You will analyze data to drive upstream improvements, drive resolutions and communicate to Sr. Finance leadership. You will continuously expand opportunities to improve processes through automation or other tools. This role is also responsible for ensuring all controls, including SOX, are operating effectively and financials at the end of an accounting period are accurately recorded. Job duties may change at any time due to business needs.

About you:
  • B.A/B.S degree
  • 7+ years of relevant business experience
  • High level of curiosity, initiative and the desire to learn end to end operations processes
  • Outstanding problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to communicate & influence

  • Ability to be resilient and adaptable, working through challenges in a fast-paced operations environment
  • Team leadership experience

Desired requirements:
