Winona State University invites applications for the position of Landscape Architect-Registered (a.k.a Landscape Arboretum Director). As our Arboretum Director, you will be responsible for providing administrative leadership, planning and program management for the campus Landscape Arboretum. This includes conducting community and educational outreach to students, faculty, staff, and the public, and serving as a university liaison to city, county and regional governments and organizations in support of the Landscape Arboretum mission and vision. 

Minimum qualifications for this position are: (1) a Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution in landscape architecture or related field of study; (2) the ability to obtain licensure with the Minnesota Board AELSLAGID as a Landscape Architect by time of hire; (3) Four years of full-time professional experience in planning, design and program management, or equivalent experience; (5) experience and/or training in Autodesk AutoCAD 2018 software, ESRI ArcGIS software, Trimble Survey Controller (or similar) field collection software, GPS and conventional surveying equipment and methods, including total stations and automatic and digital levels; and (6) a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
