Description:
Join Target's Digital team, as a Lead Marketplace Operations Analyst for Target +, Target's platform for a curated assortment of product from the industry's best third-party Brands and Sellers ("Partners"). As a senior team member on Target + you will lead cross-program projects focused on process optimization and enablement of new functions and features on the platform. Primary responsibilities of the Lead Marketplace Operations Analyst are:
  • Use partner & market research, partner feedback, program insights and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and enhancements to improve business and partner performance
  • Develop & execute project plans for strategic business problems by utilizing standard project/program management methodologies
  • Identify Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for project performance, report out on project updates, performance and key risks/issues to delivery
  • Influence product teams by developing business problem statements, objectives and business cases for product solutions
  • Lead change management and communication of large program process, policy, and product changes
  • Lead process improvement initiatives through the disciplined use of measurements, accountability, and analysis
  • Work with multiple user groups to resolve process questions, assess user needs, and recommend changes to business processes to enable process efficiency & remove redundancy


ABOUT YOU:
  • Four-year degree in related field; masters degree preferred
  • 8+ years experience in project management, process improvement or related field.
  • Marketplace and/or e-commerce experience
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills to pull insights out of data and drive action
  • Proven experience in process improvement utilizing coordinated methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, etc.
  • Mastery of project management methodologies with a record of successful implementation (PMP or equivalent certification preferred)
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to interact with mid to senior level leaders within and outside of the organization
