Position Responsibilities

The Department of Mathematics at St. Catherine University invites applications for an adjunct faculty position in Statistics.

Responsibilities:
The selected candidate will have a teaching load of 1-2 courses in the fall semester, 2019 and 1-2 courses in the spring semester, 2020, with a maximum of 3 courses assigned for the academic year 2019-2020. Applicants from all fields are welcome, but preference will be given to individuals with education and experience in teaching introductory statistical analysis at the undergraduate level.

The Department of Mathematics/Data Science/Statistics is comprised of Mathematics and Statistics faculty and teaches students majoring in a broad array of disciplines, including our Mathematics major/minor, new Data Science major, and Interdisciplinary Statistics minor.

Position Qualifications

Required qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in Statistics, Statistics Education or comparable discipline, along with demonstrated evidence of a commitment to excellence in teaching.
