The Office of Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison is seeking qualified consumer analysts to assist the Office to improve access to fairness, justice and opportunity for Minnesota residents in a wide variety of matters including for example: employment, housing, student loans, and many additional areas. Analysts are primarily responsible for answering the Office’s Consumer Assistance Hotline and providing information to Minnesotans on a range of inquiries and assisting in resolving disputes when possible. This position also involves preparing responses to correspondence the Office receives from the public. Analysts work collaboratively with our consumer protection attorneys to review consumer complaints for violations of consumer protection laws, gather evidence, and prepare documents.

Requirements: We are seeking candidates with a four-year degree and good academic credentials or equivalent employment history demonstrating clear leadership and responsibility. Applicants must have the abilities and motivation to perform exceptional work on behalf of the public. Applicants should also have a strong work ethic, good judgment and character, and leadership potential. Fluency in Spanish, Hmong, Somali or other relevant language for Minnesota’s diverse communities is helpful but not required.
