    Location:  Metro North ABE - Blaine Learning Lab, 1201 89th Ave NE, Suite 335, Blaine, MN
    Part-Time:
      12 months/229 days/3.8 hours a day

    Duties:  Assist new Adult Basic Education learners entering the program; support staff with learner placement, post-testing, and proctoring online exams and assessments.  Assist with distance learning programs, supporting classroom teachers, as well as working with basic skills, GED preparation, and adult ESL students.  Support student attendance; conduct student follow up; complete student data, record keeping, and correspondence; and supporting volunteers.  Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Qualifications:  High school diploma or equivalent.  Strong communication and organizational skills.  Ability to be flexible and function well in an environment that is busy and features an ethnically and culturally diverse population. 

    Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with adult learners in an ABE academic program preferred. Experience working with diverse populations preferred.  Strong computer skills and experience with MS Office (Word, Excel), Internet, and email preferred.

    Rate of pay:  $14.60/hour.

    Start Date:  7/1/19.
