Manager, Talent Partnerships and Influence Marketing
The Manager of Influencer and Celebrity
Partnerships ladders into the Creative Collaborations team within Target.
As Manager, Talent Partnerships and Influence
Marketing, you will be responsible for assisting in executing an overall vision
and strategy for the department for Target, one of the world's most dynamic and
culturally relevant brands. Target's history of collaboration and best-in-class
marketing combine in this role, creating an opportunity to take storytelling
and partnerships to the next level, while elevating Target's legendary
campaigns. In this role, you will build and document relationships with representatives,
traditional celebrities, and digital creators in order to serve multiple
businesses and audiences. You will facilitate content creation for a variety of
channels. You'll identify emerging opportunities and trends in the influencer
marketing space and help evolve our approach to success. You'll own the
implementation of a new software database to build influencer recommendations
for social, PR, Media Strategy, and Category Marketing teams and document all
executions. You'll own the strategy for operationalizing gifting and build
out a process for gifting, documenting, and assessing the ROI of the effort. You
will then oversee the execution of the gifting strategy. You'll create
pitch and wrap decks. You'll work closely with your team in Minneapolis and
travel there and to Los Angeles at times. You will cover events on behalf of
the company and serve as the partner manager for talent on site. You will
serve as a subject matter expert on talent to guide cross functional teams your
own team members.You will provide coaching and act as a leader for
members of your own team. Three of your most important tasks will be to
lead with kindness, to work from a place of yes, and prioritize diversity,
inclusion, and equality for all.

About You...
- BS/BA
required, Communications or Marketing degree preferred - 6-8 years of influencer,
celebrity, communications and/or social media experience; retail and/or
entertainment industry experience a plus. - Proven
experience in creating and executing successful consumer-driven marketing
programs with a track record of executing digital communication strategies and
tracking results. - Must
have a good handle on current trending influencers and pop culture. - Adept
in creative problem-solving, extremely resourceful and proactive. - Team
player with a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills. - Strong
planning, project management, and organizational skills in order to be
proactive to the ever-changing needs of social and digital media; well-versed
in the dynamic digital landscape. - Excellent
writing, presentation and communications skills. - Comfortable
project managing multiple projects simultaneously, and can be relied upon to
ensure that projects are completed in an appropriate and timely manner. - Comprehensive
understanding of all social platforms. - Must
be creative and passionate about the retail industry. - Should
be self-motivated and demonstrate an ability to work autonomously, taking the
lead on projects and anticipating the needs of the team. - Travel and weekend work required at
times.
