The Legal Solutions QA role involves the creation, preparation, and execution of quality assurance reviews and the development and execution of test plans and test scripts.  The selected individual will perform routine and basic analysis, testing, and certification of application-specific software and perform ambiguity reviews of business requirements and functional specification documents. The analyst will also log, track, and verify resolution of software and specification defects as well as document all phases of the QA process.

If you have a natural curiosity to analyze solutions in both a planned and exploratory manner, look no further.  This role receives training and is empowered to directly resolve minor issues.  It involves interacting directly with support staff, developers, data managers, project managers, and vendors to ensure the highest level of quality.  These interactions result in ongoing technical training and knowledge transfer opportunities with the satisfaction of playing an active and key role in the overall solutions delivery process.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated with strong customer service and team building skills, have an exceptional attention to detail and excellent organizational and problem solving skills.  Solid communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently, set priorities and manage multiple deadlines is essential.

To be successful in this position, you must have an average technical aptitude; understand technical concepts and have the ability to translate concepts to actionable requirements for developed or configured productivity. Process-orientation with the ability to understand and document business activities, processes and workflows and the ability to quickly become familiar with technology and software products is required.

Requirements include a minimum of three (3) years of experience working with organizational documents, spreadsheets, and organizational systems in a corporate environment, 6+ months of information technology experience and a high competency level with the Microsoft Office Suite.  Experience working in a law firm with legal documents and previous experience working with technical teams, even from the business side, is preferred.  This includes working with project and/or technical teams to receive a new system. Experience with Document Automation tools, Contract Express and SharePoint a plus.
