Ophthalmic Technician/Sales Person

Ophthalmic Technician/Sales Person
Valley Staffing in partnership with an Eye Clinic in Northfield is seeking to hire an experienced Sales person. In this position, you will join a team of professionals where attention to detail is a must and fluency in computer navigation is required.

Responsibilities are but not limited to the following:
• Inventory and/or order any supplies needed for your areas
• Assist all providers and other staff
• Assist patients any way necessary
• Comply with all patient confidentiality policies
• Monitor safety and OSHA compliance
• Keep all rooms stocked with needed supplies
• Have a working knowledge of contact lenses
• Escort discharged patients to the front desk or optical as needed
• Perform pre-testing on patients as appropriate

Qualifications:
Must have great customer service experience
Must be able to effectively communicate in English
Must have basic computer skills
Must have sales experience

Wage: $15.00/HR, with a pay increase once you have become a permanent employee
Shift: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (M, T, Th, F), Half day on Wednesday. One Saturday a month.
