Job Details

Manufacturing company in Katy is growing fast.  There is an immediate need for a QC Test Technician Supervisor.  As a member of the manufacturing team, the QC Test Technician Supervisor plans and directs activities of the QC and Testing groups. The Group Leader provides leadership, direction and technical oversight and performs duties as requested by the Production Director.

Primary Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm must be flexible to work overtime or possibly other hours as needed based on business need 



Duties and Responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

Layout daily work load for other Test Technicians. Responsible for assisting all new employees on methods and techniques required in the department. Ensure each team member has the required work related resources and techniques required for the department. Write work instructions and manuals for Testing Department. Implement training processes and procedures for Department. Make random inspections and periodic audits of processes and employees’ work product and abilities. Assist in training team members on processes and procedures. When applicable, fill in for team members who are out for short periods of time. Assist in troubleshooting and other items that team members may need help with. Assist in the review and resolution of quality non-conformance Assist the Director in verifying team members are sustaining 5S and have properly cleaned work areas at the end of the shifts. Constantly monitor team member’s work areas for unsafe work practices, equipment, clothing, etc. and report findings to Director. Assist Director with planning, assigning and directing work. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Education/Experience:

5+  years’ supervisory experience  Two-year technical degree in Applied Electrical Engineering or equivalent. Equivalent college hours in engineering or comparable industry experience. Must be able to read and interpret schematics. Must be able to use Digital Oscilloscopes, Digital Multimeters, High Voltage Isolators, Current Clamps and Hand Tools. Knowledge of MS Office and ISO 9001 preferred. Apply today for immediate consideration!
