Hunter Hamilton is currently seeking qualified applicants to join a Minneapolis-based medical device company as a Collections Specialist. In this role, you would be responsible for ensuring that all insurance claims are processed timely, accurately, and efficiently while working directly with insurance entities. In tandem with other internal teams, you would also assure data accuracy and find solutions to payment discrepancies, all while adhering to HIPAA requirements.

Main Job Duties include:

• Following up on unpaid claims
• Communicate with 3rd party payers and insurance companies 
• Identify payment delays, 3rd party trends and solutions, as well as inefficiencies within the department

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Five years or more of medical insurance (Medicare/Medicaid) or 3rd party payer experience 
• Experience with Brightree DME software preferred
