Digital People is seeking a Sr. Technical Analytics Lead to join our client’s growing team! In this role you will focus on supporting marketing technology infrastructure and enabling the measurement of earned, owned, and paid media across channels. You will assess digital and marketing analytics, provide actionable insights, and provide technical guidance on connecting different tools/reporting systems in order to provide a holistic view on marketing efforts. Responsibilities:
  • Directly responsible for managing the marketing analytics infrastructure –auditing, implementing, onboarding/training, maintaining
  • Build out reporting infrastructure from digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc.) and marketing technology (A/B Testing tools, Marketing Automation, etc.)
  • Oversees the team responsible for the execution of technical analytics
  • Assists, supports the creation of technical specifications for connecting analytics and reporting systems
  • Execute the implementation of marketing technology within internal and external digital properties
  • Directly participates in resource planning and partner meetings to help strategize current and future analytical needs to support marketing optimization efforts
  • Enables measurement and analysis of marketing initiatives through channel attribution and management
  • Provide training/onboarding to current and future partners, as well as, internal departments on maintaining data integrity and finding insights within the data
  • Ensure measurement and tracking on ongoing marketing initiatives that require advanced technical requirements
  • Innovate and experiment with new marketing and analytics technology
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in technical field preferred but not required - equivalent experience considered
  • Proficiency in basic HTML and JavaScript, jQuery and ability to troubleshoot front-end/back-end site code is a must
  • Previous experience managing a team
  • 2-5 Years with digital analytics systems (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics/SiteCatalyst, etc.)
  • +2 Years of experience with Tag Management Systems (Google Tag Management, Tealium, Ensighten, etc.)
  • Familiarity with web content management systems
  • Experience deploying analytics and advertising tracking systems (IE: Google Analytics, Google Ads, Bing, etc. )
  • Experience deploying and managing A/B and multivariate tools
  • Working knowledge of databases and structure
  • Ability to translate analytics-related requests, analysis requirements into clear objectives
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, Macros, etc.)
