Development Associate
Central Office, St. Paul

CommonBond is excited to announce a full-time Development Associate position at Central Office in St. Paul. The Development Associate is responsible for multiple key functions of the Resource Development department related to data entry and management, gift processing, project management, and administrative support.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and update constituent records.
• Create and mail gift acknowledgements in a timely fashion.
• Support the creation and completion of various postal and digital appeals.
• Conduct prospect research and enter into constituent records.
• Support Communications team in distributing content and integrating donor/prospect engagement with it into constituent records.
• Create and manage queries and reports as requested.
• Serve as backup to Database Administrator.
• Provide coordination for non-fundraising events.
• Provide project management for cross-departmental initiatives.
• Coordinate and schedule meetings for the department, and across the organization.
• Make arrangements for site tours, travel.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and print materials.
• Collect and organize information for Charities Review Council and other regulatory bodies.
• Collect and organize department policies and procedures.
• Edit and proof correspondence, reports, and materials.
• Provide administrative support to the EVP of Resource Development as needed
• Assist the CEO’s Executive Assistant relative to Resource Development activities
• Provide back up to CommonBond receptionist.
• Create materials for donor visits or cultivation activities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office Suite programs, including Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe Suite and PowerPoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to research and report facts accurately.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise independent judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and details simultaneously.
• Ability to show initiative, willingness to learn and take on more responsibilities as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work occasional early mornings or evenings
Other Skills
• Familiarity with Raiser’s Edge or fundraising databases preferred.
