The Asset Protection Shortage Research and Investigations exists to tackle the complex and constantly moving significant shortage opportunity at Target by quantifying and clarifying shortage drivers and partnering across the enterprise to effect profitable change. As a key player on this team, you'll leverage existing data and seek out new data sources to generate new actionable insights to resolve, mitigate and prevent inventory shortage. You'll work closely with partners and teams across the enterprise to ensure those that can impact shortage have the right information to make profitable business decisions and investments.

About you:
- 4 year degree and 5+ years of experience
- Strong communication. Ability to communicate complex concepts in simple ways to generate clarity, comprehension and actionable insights to drive change
- Proven collaborator, works well with a team as well as on individual assignments
- Experience working in an agile environment (e.g. user stories, iterative development, leading cross team collaborative initiatives etc.)
- Expert in various business disciplines (Stores, Finance, Merchandising, and/or Supply Chain)
- Experienced analyst with strong ability to synthesis, create & analyze data
