A well-established manufacturing company in the Brainerd Lakes Area is currently searching for a full time Purchasing Agent. The individual in this position will be responsible for purchasing all raw materials and parts, tracking purchase orders, and receiving all goods. This company specializes in the fabrication of metal for use in foundries and other industrial companies. They offer great benefits once hired on and have a starting pay range of $15 to $17 an hour. Responsibilities: - Backup for answering phones. - Purchase stock parts, raw materials, and manufactured goods. - Enter purchase orders into tracking sheet and database.  - Following up and track the purchase orders. - Proactively research for vendors, pricing, and quality issues. - Give updates and input at weekly production meetings. - Receive goods, inspect for quantity, quality, and accuracy.  Requirements: - Two plus years of customer service experience. - Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word. - Excellent written and oral communication. - Must possess a willingness to learn.
