Are you a detail-oriented, service-focused professional who thrives in a fast paced environment? Pro Staff is hiring a Claims Specialist for our client company in Alexandria. This is a long term role, with the following core areas of responsibility:

• Working with clients on claim details and documenting in the system
• Submitting and monitoring claims
• Follow up with clients and insurance companies
• General office duties such as answering and directing calls and handling mail
• Communicating with owners on potentially large claims and year end reporting
• Assisting agents with quoting or other tasks as needed

This is a day shift position paying $32,000-37,000/year, depending on experience.

Qualified candidates can effectively manage time and work flow in a busy and ever changing work environment. Strong interpersonal and computer skills and the willingness to stay informed on industry changes are needed. Prior experience in the insurance industry is strongly preferred. Associates degree and 2+ years’ customer service experience are required.
