Hunter Hamilton is partnering with a small to midsize manufacturing company in the N/NE quadrant of the metro to hire a Manager of Procurement. This individual will be expected to be a working manager also overseeing 2-4 buyers. 

Duties include, but not limited to:
  • Coordinate and direct activities involved in purchasing equipment, raw materials, supplies, and products
  • Assist with centralizing purchasing from four locations to one
  • Spend time on the manufacturing floor to engage in the process and develop relationships
  • Work closely with various teams including Operations, Engineering, and Sales
  • Set up processes and create efficiencies

  • Minimum of 7-10 years’ experience as a purchaser, buyer, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience managing 2+ direct reports
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, supply chain, or equivalent
  • Experience in manufacturing and procurement
