CommonBond is excited to announce an opening for an Accountant. This position is responsible for all phases of accounting for multiple sets of property books, prepares and reviews monthly reports and provides support to the accounting department.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND ASSOCIATED TASKS
• Maintains schedules for assets, liabilities, and depreciation
• Produces accurate monthly and year end financials for management and board members
• Reconciles bank accounts
• Prepares year-end audit schedules
• Complies with all internal control procedures
• Acts as a resource for property managers regarding budget preparation

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in accounting
• Minimum two years of experience with all aspects of accrual accounting through financial statements and audit preparation
• Experience working with multiple sets of books
• Experience with Excel and computerized accounting software
• Ability to design computerized accounting spreadsheets
• Ability to maintain tight internal control procedures
• Detail oriented
• Ability to use 10 key adding machine
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Excellent interpersonal, organization, and communication skills.
• Strong figure aptitude
