Mechanical Assembler - Days

Are you mechanically inclined, with a desire to build a career in manufacturing? Pro Staff is now recruiting an entry level Mechanical Assembler for our client company in Alexandria! In this team-oriented role, you’ll learn assembly skills for building modules and sub-assemblies by working alongside experienced assemblers.
Duties include:
• Use appropriate hand tools, shop equipment, testing and measuring devices.
• Assist and learn to read and assemble to applicable prints, documentation and standards per OEM documentation and company standards.
• Learn to determine if parts match specifications.
• Assist and learn to maintain and update machine documentation.
• Assemble machine sub-assemblies.
• Attend meetings as required.
Hours are 7am-3:30pm, Mon-Fri. Pay is $14-16/hr., depending on experience.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent education/work experience required. Must have strong communication and time management skills and be committed to excellence. Must be mechanically inclined, willing to learn, and be able to lift up to 50lbs.
