At Twin Cities PBS (TPT), we have a mission: to enrich lives and strengthen communities through the power of public media. Our Customer Service Representative is critical to our mission. This full-time position plays an important role for providing friendly, professional and timely communications and strong customer service experience for our viewers and members.
MAJOR AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following reflects the essentials functions, but does not restrict other tasks that may be assigned as a result of membership needs.
• Answer all incoming member and viewer calls, and assist with questions in a professional and courteous manner
• Provide timely and well-written responses to member and viewer email communications
• Accurately assist with membership data entry into an online Web form
• Able to utilize multiple databases in concert to effectively and efficiently address member needs
• Create email response solutions and templates in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system
• Record member and viewer services interactions in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and update solutions and templates to facilitate the speed of response time for future member and viewer inquiries
• Partner with programming and member services to confirm the accuracy of responses
• Strong professional fundraising and relationship builder who will help TPT continue its mission and enhance viewer loyalty
• Provides back up support to the Membership Specialist and Front Desk staff
POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• Two or more years of customer service, fundraising or relevant experience is required
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
• Solid computer skills aptitude, experience with Salesforce strongly desired
• Highly organized with great attention to detail to ensure accurate data entry and typing skills
• Ability to respond quickly, calmly and professionally to any unexpected situations and problem solve
• Able to multitask projects and quickly transition between them
• Familiarity and love of PBS and TPT programming and resources
