People Incorporated is searching for candidates for our Residential programs. This is a great opportunity for students in psychology, social work or human services to get your foot in the door to learn and gain experience in community mental health care.  If you are looking to earn extra income with work that fits into your busy work or school schedule, then we have shifts available that are very compatible.  We also have an excellent training department and employees have access to trainings in a variety of mental health topics to develop greater skill levels.

We're hiring new team members for our residential team in both our entry level and experienced level positions, details of positions below:

Entry level - Mental Health Support Specialist

Required Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma/GED
  • Valid driver's license, excellent driving record and current auto insurance

Our Mental Health Support Specialists are responsible for creating a supportive environment for our residents by actively engaging in their daily activities, taking care of household duties such as preparing meals and cleaning while also providing intervention and de-escalation for clients experiencing mental health symptoms.

Experienced - Mental Health Practitioner

Required qualifications:

  • High school diploma
  • Valid driver's license, excellent driving record and current auto insurance

AND EITHER

  • Three years full-time experience working with people with serious mental illness

OR

  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral science or related field
  • One year full-time experience working with people with serious mental illness

Our Mental Health Practitioners are also essential in creating a supportive environment for our residents through engaging in day to day activities. In addition they create and revise service plans to best support the growth of each individual resident in moving towards their goals while coaching residents on the development of independent living skills as well as coping skills.
