Job Details
We are seeking a motivated Senior Accountant with manufacturing, purchasing and inventory management expertise. The person should be a results-oriented, high performer who is hardworking, hands-on, detail oriented and a self-starter.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Perform all general ledger account entries, balance sheet reconciliation and related activities
- Prepare monthly balance sheet, profit and loss, cash flow, and other financial reports
- Perform AP, AR, payroll, bank wires, and general financial processes
- Participate in manufacturing management, component purchasing and inventory management
- Perform general office activities (i.e. office supply orders, shipping, insurance, benefits, etc.)
- Assists with special accounting and manufacturing projects as required
Experience:
- Accounting Degree, Bachelor's Degree, or other applicable 4-year degree
- 2+ years accounting experience in electronics or other manufacturing business
- Experience in Misys or similar MRP system, QuickBooks Online, and MS Excel required
- Expertise in MRP systems, parts purchasing, cost accounting, and inventory management
Skills:
- Expertise in spreadsheets and agility in accounting software systems
- Detail-oriented and well organized with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Results-oriented with a “can do” positive attitude, self-motivated, and collaborative
- Effectively multi-task, prioritize, and think analytically in completing duties
- Be able to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
- Unquestionable integrity and personal ethics
