Position Summary

The MBA , MAOL , and Sonography departments at St. Catherine University invite applications for a full time administrative assistant. The position supports MAOL and MBA at .75 FTE and Sonography at .25 FTE . This position performs a wide variety of administrative support services, all of which contribute to the efficient and professional operation of the University offices, with a focus on service. The incumbent is responsible for providing reception, information services, office and administrative assistance.

The salary range for this full time, non-exempt position is $16.56-18.41/hour, with excellent benefits , including free tuition (tuition remission) at St. Kate's (and other participating schools) for employees and their families, health, dental, vision, an 8% 403b contribution, paid vacation/sick/holiday time, and six weeks of paid parental leave.

Responsibilities for the MBA and MAOL Department:

• Provide administrative support for MAOL and MBA programs, and their Program Directors, professors, and adjunct faculty.
• Assist in scheduling, planning, and coordinating appointments, events, courses, and processes.
• Provide information and support to current and prospective students related to program requirements, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in timely, proactive and constructive communication to all stakeholder groups.
• Maintain accurate records and files.
• Serve as administrative support for assessment and accreditation activities.
• Supervise student workers.
• Provide other general administrative support of Program Directors as needed.

Responsibilities for the Sonography Department:

• Support Sonography program.
• Assist program directors, faculty, and adjuncts.
• Coordinate tasks, provide assistance with course scheduling and student inquiries.
• Supervise student workers.
• Assist in scheduling patients.
• Attend key meeting requested by program director.
• Provide support to the Program Director and Clinical Coordinator as needed such as event planning.
• Serve as administrative support for assessment and accreditation reports

Required Qualifications

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED .
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent phone etiquette skills.
• Organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to successfully address and resolve issues.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Proficiency in G Suite, especially scheduling.
• Excellent conflict management skills.
• Ability to interact with all levels of management, faculty, staff, and students, as well as external partners.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities simultaneously, taking work direction from multiple supervisors, with short timelines and a high level of pressure, and complete tasks in a timely manner.
